Who we are.
Socom Metallurgy was established in 1999 on the initiative of Jean Marc Vercruysse with the aim of establishing a group of significant size in the sheet metal and machine welding trades. Through acquisitions, Socom Metallurgy has created its own identity in the marketplace while preserving that of its subsidiaries, through the decentralization of operational business functions, supported by joint transversal functions. After nearly 10 years of existence, our group has become a major player in the French and European markets for large scale industrial equipment.
Our mission
Our goal is to provide complete solutions to our clients by accompanying them, from the earliest possible moment in project creation in order to integrate our design expertise in boiler making, welding and machining into the product development process. Much more than a subcontractor, Socom Metallurgy’s intention is to be a partner in the realization of your projects.
Our commitment to QHSE (Quality-Safety-Health-Environment)
The very high quality orientation of our Group through its quality system makes SOCOM METALLURGY a preferred partner for all constructions, from the simplest to the most complicated. Five of our group companies are certified ISO 9001-2000 and our goal is to qualify 100% of group companies by the end of 2009. Moreover, our group developed a policy of progress around a HSE (health, safety, and environment) management system in order to move towards "zero accidents". Our subsidiary, SOGEM, specializes in on-site interventions, received the MASE-UIC certification in May 2009. Enjoy your visit to our website !
